Compound Curve, Reverse Curve and Transition Curve

Example
Two tangents AB and BC intersect at B. Another line DE intersects AB and BC at D
and E such that ∠ADE = 150° and ∠DEC = 140°. The radius of the first curve is 200
m and that of the second is 300 m. The chainage of B is 950 m.

H.W Example
Two tangents PQ and QR intersect at Q. Another line SW intersects PQ and QR at S
and W such that ∠PSW = 155° and ∠SWR = 135°. The radius of the first curve is 250
m and that of the second is 350 m. The chainage of Q is 1950 m.
