Object: Introduction to the Soil Mechanics Laboratory and HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) measures.
- The students may not operate any equipment without permission/supervision of the lab. Technician /lab. Supervisor.
- The students must follow the proper guidelines given by the lab technician.
- The students must use the equipment carefully and clean it before and after performing the practical.
- The student must know the location of safety equipment and their usage.
- The students must use the right and required tools for the job.
- In case of any accident, the students must immediately report to the teacher or lab. Technician.
- The students must maintain a pleasant environment in the lab.
- The light must be switched off properly when the last person is out from the lab.
- Stay in your assigned section during the laboratory period. Do not sit on the benches.
- Do not move or try to repair instruments. Report malfunctioning equipment to your instructor at once.
